"Our daughter LOVES Keystone - the best day camp experience ever!"

Ready or not, Christmas is here and New Years is already demanding resolutions! Is it just me or are we all feeling the extra frenzy in this year’s holiday season? I feel like I lost a week! Thanksgiving was over and it was already December! Hanukkah coinciding with Thanksgiving was kind of cool, but Thanksgiving occurring so late in November wrenched my internal holiday clock all sideways!
Getting back on track has meant marathon shopping sprees, on line ordering and juggling multiple holiday parties. It’s been a little crazy and a lot of madness. Is it Bah Humbug to say I’m ready for some family fun time? With most local schools closed for the next two weeks, your kids will definitely looking for fun things to do so here are a few suggestions…
Tis the season of giving and what better way to spend a day than collecting up toys, clothes and other items to donate to a local charity? Make room for the new stuff Santa will bring and do something helpful for those in need. Double bonus!
Still have some shopping or wrapping to do or need to get on your lap top for an hour or so? Let the kids blow off some steam at KidzCity Got little ones? No worries, bring your tots along. Tons to do for all ages! 20841 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills Phone: 818-887-7516
See a movie! It’s a fun thing to do together and gives you all something to talk about afterward. This season’s kid flick “Frozen” is a good choice. Beautifully written and animated, with a Billboard top 10 soundtrack, it reinforces a great message of sibling love and loyalty. Reinforcing sibling love is always welcome, eh parents?
Now for the MUST DO! You cannot let the season pass without ICE SKATING!!! It’s great exercise and super fun for you and your whole crew! Indoor doesn’t cut it though! You must go Rockefeller Center style! This year you have even more choices for getting your skate on at seasonal OUTDOOR rinks! SURPRISE!! They’re all open on Christmas day! NOTE: We highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance on line!
All of us at Camp Keystone wish you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy 2014!
